Allan and Wendy Hubley, parents of 15-year old Ottawa student Jamie Hubley, who took his own life on October 15th.   Jamie Hubley kept a blog detailing how he was tormented as a openly gay teenager.   His parents, seen here walking into the office of PC MPP Lisa McLoed, came to Queen’s Park to press politicans to work together to pass anti-bullying legislation.

NDP MPP Cheri Di Novo talking about why she is co-sponsoring a bill with PC Randy Hillier and Liberal Kim Craitor that would repeal the “breed specific” clause in the Dog Owners Liability Act that targets pit bulls. Hillier tabled the bill calling the clause short sighted.   Di Novo says the only reason her own dog hasn’t been targeted is “Don Cherry has one.”
